Wild Neighbors Nature Connection presents: Young Naturalist Series: Birding for Connection

The focus on Spruce/Fir Habitat takes place Saturday May 4. 9:00am-11:00am.

This outing’s focus will be on spending time with our year-round resident chickadees as well as a variety of colorful warblers and other migratory songbirds who are undergoing their spring migration. Play some games, develop nature awareness skills, and learn some bird language while enjoying a 1.5 mile walk on Boreal Life Trail with Naturalist Educator, Relational Birder, and Adirondack Guide Rich Hanlon. There are a lot of things in today’s world that can make us feel isolated and alone, and birds can help us to feel connected and part of a community that is beautiful and good.

Designed for families with young people between the ages of 6-13, but there are no age restrictions.

Children are FREE, Adults $10
